Yesterday, I went there for the first time and purchased 5 bags of fresh basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano and Italian parsley. It was picked for me ... right there on the spot. I didn’t have to wait long and I couldn’t believe the quality. I dehydrate my fresh herbs as they are far superior than the store bought herbs that I use for cooking. They are now in my dehydrator and the smell in my house is amazing. I will now only buy my fresh herbs at NuLeaf Farms because not only are these herbs the best quality but the price beats anywhere else in Calgary where I’ve bought fresh herbs. Lots of parking and very easy to get to. This place is amazing! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!! Read more

Tl;dr: this place is wonderful, and I’ll be back often! Long of it: I went this morning to pick up some Thai Basil and two Thai Basil plants that I ... purchased, and I was absolutely blown away! While I was waiting for my order to be completed, Ryan gave me a tour of the facility that went above and beyond. I’m incredibly grateful for the time he took to show me what Nuleaf does, how they do it, and speak to why exactly they do it the way they do. I’m a social worker now but I moved to Calgary from California, so between the two I’m beyond stoked to see the potential application for food security (which I know they were already looking at), and making the most of water as to not waste a non-renewable resource that’s getting harder to come by. Most importantly, the Thai Basil I got is GORGEOUS and delicious. I hope more people discover Nuleaf, because I and my family will definitely keep coming back! Read more

Quality of their herbs is outstanding, far better than what I could buy at my local grocery store. Visited the facility and got a tour, it was amazing ... to see just how much they monitor through the whole process from seed to harvest. They produce in ~1000sqft what would would take a traditional farm several acres to do while using ~90% less water, using non gmo seeds, no pesticide use, and finely tuned nutrients without runoff into ecosystems. They’ve branched out into producing hydrosols reducing the negative impacts of the essential oil, therapeutics and cosmetics industries. I can’t wait to see what they do next. Truly inspiring.
