About Thyme Hydrosol
What is a Hydrosol?
Hydrosols are aromatic waters produced when fresh leaves, fruits, flowers, or other plant materials go through the steam distillation process. While their properties and aromas are similar to their essential oil equivalents, they are much softer and gentler, making them safe to use without additional dilution for people of all ages
Thyme Hydrosol is obtained from steam distilling Thymus Vulgaris, a member of the Mints family. This evergreen shrub can grow up to 15-30 centimeters tall in height and has a distinct, inviting aroma. The small leaf’s and delicate stems of this potent herb are used to make this unique hydrosol. The calming, soothing scents of this hydrosol are pleasant, powerful, woody, with a sweet after tone.
