Taste The Difference Using Potted Herbs
If you’re a passionate food lover and interested in nutrition, Potted herbs are the sweet spot where delicious and healthy come together. With luscious leaves — parsley, basil, cilantro, mint, thyme, oregano, rosemary, and the like — not only add enticing aroma, fresh flavor, and vivid green color to food but also have remarkable health benefits. When you move beyond thinking of herbs as mere garnishes and start to see them as major culinary players, a whole world of healthy taste opens up to you.
Better Taste- Nothing is quite like the taste of fresh herbs. Potted herbs are producing oils and flavor up to the moment you cut and use them!
Health Benefits- Herbs are rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties helping to boost your immune system.
Less Waste- Say goodbye to throwing away plastic clamshells and spoiled herbs.
More bang for your buck- Enjoy farm-fresh taste for weeks on end. Simply harvest and place your pot in a sunny window. Soon your plant will be ready to eat again.
Urban Farming For the Future
Organic Soil and Seed
At NuLeaf, we are committed to growing the best quality herbs that in turn, produce the best flavours. That’s why we use non-GMO seeds and plant each of our potted herbs using quality organic soil.
When growing herbs, it’s important to provide soil that can retain some water but has good drainage. While many of these tasty plants drink their fair share of water, they don’t like to be kept too wet. Some of the woody herbs, like rosemary, thyme, and oregano like to be kept a little on the dry side for best results.
We’re proud to be working with other local businesses to bring Albertans safe, nutritious, great-tasting food all year round. No matter where you choose to shop, thank you for supporting local farmers and small businesses.
